“For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel – these are the eyes of the Lord which range to and fro throughout the earth.” Zechariah 4:10
We truly serve an awesome God that is going before us to accomplish those things He has on his heart in order to fulfill His plans and purposes. May the Lord help each of us to realize we are truly joint heirs with the King of Glory in this day that we live in.
“From that time Jesus began to proclaim and say, ‘repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” Matthew 4:17
Praise God that this message is still the same today as it was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow. The Kingdom of heaven is at hand. The kings of the earth are meeting together to bring forth their kingdoms at the same time. We must purpose in our hearts that we will not be distracted by all of the kingdoms of this world that are in the process of all passing away.
“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:6-7
We are told that everything that can be shaken is going to be shaken in order that what cannot be shaken will stand. The kingdoms of this world are being shaken right before our eyes – why? So that the Kingdom of God will stand out. Praise God it is unshakeable. It is on solid ground or better yet it is on a solid rock. And that Rock is Jesus. Glory!
This past Saturday morning I shared with a group in Arlington, Texas and found myself ministering in a prophetic spirit. Sunday morning I shared with a group in Waco in a local church and found myself again ministering in a prophetic spirit. These are truly exciting days. The Lord does not want us to despise the day of small beginnings. May we all by His marvelous grace not grow weary in going about doing good.
I was closing my message Sunday morning with prayer and the Lord reminded me of the verse in Chronicles where we find the eye of the Lord going across the earth looking for those who have turned their hearts unto them. Lord, may we all this day turn our hearts towards you.
“For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
Continue to have a blessed week in Him. Homer Owen
